Summer School Information Graphic

This program has been designed to support students at Crestwood High School in their efforts to recover lost academic credits. These credits may have been lost as a result of subpar academic performance, chronic absenteeism leading to academic struggles, or due to students transferring from other school districts with limited credit transferability.

Students are required to fulfill the entirety of their Michigan Merit Curriculum within a four-year timeframe from the point of enrollment in high school, regardless of where they initiated their high school education. At Crestwood High School, students must complete a minimum of 23 Credit Hours, which includes meeting the Michigan Merit Curriculum criteria. In the event that a student does not meet the credit requirements during a given semester, they will be obligated to participate in Crestwood’s Credit Recovery Program.

Participation in the Credit Recovery Program will cost $300 per class, with a maximum limit of two classes permitted. For the current academic year, the allocation of time slots for the Crestwood Schools Credit Recovery Program will follow a priority-based system. Priority will be assigned as follows: current Seniors will receive the highest priority, followed by Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen.
